Valentine's Day During Lockdown

The 1st day of February is here and it's the month for love! It's all about celebrating love for one another and most importantly ourselves. We also learn about the contributions that African Americans have made to our country. I am excited to say nonetheless. However, there is a major difference than the years before. We are still in the thick of COVID and the news is still dismal with reports of cases rising every day. Death toll statistics are presented every minute and every hour and it reminds me why I am still overly cautious to venture out into the world. This could certainly put a damper on any plans for Valentine's Day for sure. So what kind of plans can loved ones hope to carry out during this pandemic? Besides the obvious, there are those who still want to enjoy the build up to it if you will. Lol. I still fancy breakfast in bed, a dinner date, or watching a romantic movie. So what's a girl to wear with all of these choices? I have a few outfits in mind. Lol. A few of them come from our All Black Valentine's Day Collection The looks range from moderately sexy to overly sexy. The 1st one I would like to share is Aubrey. She is comfortable with her soft stretchy fabric. I love how this basic midi dress elevates to another level with the thigh high slit which can be adjusted with the adjustable drawstrings. I felt demure and sexy so I paired this outfit with my strappy sandals from Fashion Nova. The matte lipstick I am wearing is from UOMA and the color is 'Diana'.
